Introduction

Computer and Network Center at NCNU dedicates to providing information services and technology that enable NCNU to extend its preeminence in research, teaching, and public service in the 21st century.

Organization and Services

The NCNU Computer and Network Center consists of the following sections:

  • System Section: Provides application systems development and best practices for unit-specific application software in support of administrative functions, academic functions, and public service.
  • Network Section: Provides focus on voice and date network infrastructure and services:Wireless Network service, Firewalls, Remote Access VPN Service, Residence Telephone Service, Telephone Service, Cellular Services.
  • General Affairs Section: Provides focus on IT technology training courses, online tutoring projects. Administer the budget allocation and the financial processes in the center.
  • Consultation Section: Provides focus oncomputer Labs and facilities, Cloud Computing Virtual Machine (VM), departmental On-site Computing Support, IT expert assistance and service management, Email services, Antivirus Software, Security Host Vulnerability Assessment. Coordinate student organization access to the Internet, including accounts on online services.

Hours: 8:00- 17:00, Monday - Friday

Location: 1F, Library Building

Computer Labs

The center provides over 6 computer labs, about 300 computers at campus available to faculty, staff, and students. Locations of the computer Labs:
